Do you repair the Hayward Tiger Shard QC? When I place it in the water it starts to run for about 20 seconds and then stops. I have performed the reccomended troubleshooting and everything looks fine from cleaing it out and making sure the impeller is not obstructed. It appears the motor is not working and needs to be replaced. This is the third season we have been using it.

We do not repair the Tiger Shark QC, but from what you are explaining it does sound like the motor is bad. We do carry the Tiger Shark QC replacement Motor but you would need to do the repair yourself or hire someone to do the replacement. If you don’t want to do the repair yourself then you should be able to find a Hayward Service Station here. Here is a video you may find helpful, it does not go over the exact replacement of the motor but gives you some idea of the inner workings of the Tiger Shark
