The other day I noticed my pool pump wasnt priming, so I took it apart, cleaned out the impellar, and started it back up. It worked for about 5 minutes until it started to make a loud humming noise, then suddenly shut off displaying Error 64. The following day I went to check on the pump and it was completely off. No power light on the status LED & no display on the main LED. If there isnt a replaceable capacitor, do you think it’s completely shot? I purchased in Sept 2015, so no warranty.
Hello Megan1101 - I would check the voltage at the motor to make sure the pump is still receiving the correct voltage. If it is, the pump is likely shot and needs to be replaced. If it’s not getting the correct voltage, you may want to contact an electrician to see why.
