I am considering to replace my pump with one of the following VS pump:

  • Hayward Max-Flo VS 115V (Model# SP23115VSP)
  • Pentair Superflo VS   115V (Model# 342001)

Could you provide your feedback between those two pumps and let me know if you recommend a different pump double or variable speed which would be appropriate for my pool according to the spec I have provided above.

Hello Pharao - Either pump would work well but we give the edge to the Pentair SuperFlo model 342001. Pentair has always been ahead of the curve with their variable speed pumps. Their on-board control is both durable and easy to program. Also, the Superflo VS is Energy Star Ceertified. This makes it possible for any rebates offered by your local power company.
