Our variable speed pump was installed a year and a half ago. It is now making a loud noise and the pump turns itself off after about 45 seconds of running. Does this model pump use capacitor(s)? If so, which ones and du you sell them? Thank you.

Hello Jaimee - Unfortunately, there is not a replaceable capacitor. I would recommend contacting Hayward directly. Your Max-Flo VS may still be under warranty.
Thank you for replying. The pump is two months out of warranty, but I methodically took it apart and cleaned out the impeller and around the motor and put it back together being careful to clean and lubricate all the seals. It is now working like a champ.
