INYO support,
I need to replace a Hayward LED pool light. The old one leaked and no longer works. How do I determine if this light assembly is a Hayward Colorlogic 2.5 or 4.0 model without taking the lamp out of the pool? The pool is approximately 8 yrs old. Thanks.
Hello Macnmac5 - Hayward switched to the 4.0 in 2010. The easiest way to determine the model is to pull the lamp onto the deck. There should be one screw that holds the fixture in place. Loosen that screw and pull the entire fixture out. There will be a label on the back side of the fixture with the version number. (Make sure the light breaker is off before removing the light)
INYO support,
DO you carry Hayward ColorLogic 2.5 lights? I only see 4.0 lights on your website? Thanks.
We only carry the 4.0 lights. The 2.5 lights are no longer available.
InyoRob. That’s rotten. I have two 2.5 lights in the pool. One for the spa and one for the pool. Is ti true that V2.5 is not compatible with v4.0? I don’t want replace two lights.
Is it only InYo pools that does not carry them or has Hayward decided not to make/offer them anymore?
Thank you.
Hayward hasn’t made them in a couple years. We sold them until we ran out.
