Hayward 6060 pump motor

I ordered a replacement motor for the Hayward 6060,  3/4 hp. but I got in a 2 hp motor. is there any thing

i need to change to  use this motor

Hi Rick433,

If you got a 2 HP motor then you need to coordinate getting the correct 3/4 HP motor as a 2 HP motor would not work on the Hayward 6060. Did you purchase the motor from us? If so could you supply your order # and the part # of the motor that you received.

It was order from your company.  662158 was the order number and the part number on the pump motor is 7-F56AA13A04-26.

It has the correct base to hook up to the mount and I have installed it, used it once and the seals starting leaking water. Do I need to wait for the correct motor

Would it be possible for you to send a picture of the item you received along with a picture of the motor label information?
