Last season we purchased a 21’ round Sharkline Venture pool thru poolsupply world; i contacted them and was advised by them to contact you for support. My question is what are the recommended grounding points for this product? I am concerned because it currently isnt grounded properly and needs to be addressed immediately. Thank you for your immediate help in this matter. Don Watts
I would Bond at any of the points on the framing of the pool…You cannot over bond a pool so I would hit about 4 areas with it making sure to use a compression lug or a split bolt connector or a mechanical lug all which i would use stainless steel hardware to keep corrsion out of the mix. Hope this helps! Also use of #8 bare solid copper wire will be efficient in the pool bonding I would also run a continuous ring of the wire around the pool to create a ground ring around the pool make sure you use fittings approved for copper wire for terminating the copper cable. One more thing make sure you hit your pool equioment if it has bonding lugs on it and drive your ground rod into the earth and connect. Your area may also require you to bond the water with an approved fitting that conncects to the skimmer piping Youtube can give you a better vusual on what it should look like but no self tapping type screws…bolts and nuts required…
Hope this helps
