Filterballs?

Anyone tried Filterballs? https://www.filterballs.com/ Sounds promising and many of the reviews look good. Inyo Pools has a writeup on what appears to be the earlier version named Pollyballs. I can’t find any hits in the forum for the word filterballs.

Hello Matthew - I know the Pollyballs have worked well for several pool owners. We haven’t received any feedback on the Filterballs. Maybe someone will come along and give us a review on the FIlterballs.

From what I can tell, Pollyballs seems to have become Filterballs. I will give them a try and report back.

Sounds good, Matthew. Thanks!

Because of other unexpected equipment issues, these probably aren’t going in this weekend. I will report back once I do put them in.

I’m pleased with them. After going through the hassle of removing 300 pounds of sand, putting in 3 pounds of filterballs was a pleasant change. My pool is as clean or maybe cleaner than it was with sand. Everything looks great.

We appreciate the update. I’ll steer customers to your review in the future. Thanks again.

I took off the cap on my filter to insect yesterday. The water looked like a filthy aquarium. My pool looks great. I assume that means all the nasty stuff is staying in the filter. I’m really please with filterballs. I did end up adding one more pound that initially recoemmended, because I had enough room left. It did not increase my pressure on my filter, and there is still sufficient room at the top.
