What should I do with the old pool pump motor? It was working fine until the capicator blew up and melted. The motor itself is still in good shape. It seems a waste to toss it, or send it to the dump … lots of copper and other still working and valuable parts going to waste if it goes to the dump. There must be a better way to dispose of the not working but still intact motor.
Good morning. With an older motor you may be able to scrap the metal for a little cash but if very corroded it may need to just be trashed.
