Chosing Century VS EVQ225 Programs Criteria

I am soon ordering the EVQ225 to replace the old Pentair 2HP, SuperFlo, which is making loud noises at 8 years old. Will be installing it myself.
Which program do I choose?
I am inclined to use the preloaded program 1, but would like maximum economy along with great water quality.
Presently, the Intermatic mechanical clock is set at 8 to 10 AM, and 12 noon to 4 PM, total of 6 hrs. With happy results.
Pool In-ground, rectangular, I have calculated 16,620 gallons
Thank you.

That’s a great choice - your electric bill will thank you!

I would start with Schedule 6. You may need to raise it a little if you have a heater, but, if you don’t, that schedule will be more than adequate for your pool.

These motors are happiest when powered on 24/7/365 so the old mechanical timer can be bypassed. Applying and cutting power to it can result in it starting at the beginning of the program.

Don’t forget to add a Tune-Up Kit for your SuperFlo pump for a leak-free installation.

Do I understand this correctly?
Schedule 6: “Water Feature Only 1100 RPM for 12 Hours per day”? There is no heater, no water features. That would be a huge electrical savings. I’ll be doing the math on it.
For the timer, I will just remove the four trippers and turn the main switch on, permanently, for 24/7/365.
I will also order GOKIT78.
Thank you very much for the great news.

Oops - let me try that again. I like the Schedule B Number 6 program, not the Schedule A. Dip switch positions set
to: #3 ON, #4 OFF.

Schedule A Number 6, 7, or 8 can be used with a timer if you want to use a timer, since they are just a single speed all the time. You may find that 1750RPM for 6 hours is more than adequate for your pool, so A7, on a timer, would be perfect.
