Chlorine Generator Cell Angle

Replacing my old 20K Gallon chlorine generator with a Pureline PL7700 Chlorine 40k Gallon generator. I currently have the cell mounted at an angle bc of the layout of the equipment and not trying to add 90 degree turns to get the best flow. Is it okay to mount it at an angle since I start the pump 5 min earlier to prime and remove air pockets in the system before starting the Chlorine generator? Also is it okay I adjust the chlorine production to match the 20k gallon production?

It depends upon the angle, but that shouldn’t be an issue as long as it has enough flow to get any air out of it when it is operating.

You can adjust the output to whatever you like with the output knob from zero to 100% (don’t forget that these run on about a 90-minute operating cycle; 10% will have it run 9 minutes and off for 81 minutes, 50% will have it run for 45 minutes and off for 45 minutes, etc), but don’t set the unit for a smaller cell. It will not operate properly and the readings on the screen will be wrong. A good starting point for the cell output is half of what your old system was at if you are replacing a system rated for 20,000 gallons with the 40,000 gallon-rated PL7700.
