Challenger Trap Assembly Leaking Water

I’m attempting to replace a damaged Pentair Challenger Trap Assembly, .5-2.5HP w/Plastic Basket - 359507. I’ve installed the replacement, but water is leaking where the 4 bolts connect to the Challenger motor.

I didn’t look too carefully at that section before installing, but is it possible that an O ring is missing or should I be using some sort of glue or specific method?

We would suggest key #21 as shown on this Challenger Parts Page we would also suggest this Magic Lube Lubricant to apply to the o-ring.
