Century SQS1102R pump motor missing capacitor

My pool guy said the pump motor made fast clicking sounds when starting the high speed. He said the capacitor needs to be replaced. He took my capacitor to find replacement and I never saw him again. I’m trying to find the capacitor specifications to order replacement. Can not find specs on web, but learned the 1 hp 2 speed 230v motor uses a Permanent Split Capacitor. Does anyone know what capacitor MFD I should purchase?

Hi Mark, I am very sorry to hear about that. Can you attach an image or 2 of the label on the motor so we are sure to recommend the correct one?

Okay, I’ve had my coffee and I now see that you put the motor model in the subject. Sorry about that!

The capacitor for the SQS1102R motor is part number 97F9639, 35uf, 440 volt capacitor. We do not carry it, but a quick search online will show you who does have it available. Just watch the dimensions of the replacement to be sure it will fit into the capacitor hump on the motor.

Outstanding! You made my day. Thanks.
