Centurion pump replacement

My Centurion for Pac-Fab, 1 HP, 1.25 SF, FR: P56Y motor has bit the dust. I am interested in an energy efficient replacement which will match with my 60 GPM sand filter. The in/out PVC’s are 2.25" edge to edge…don’t know if this means they are 2" pvc pipes? I also have a water feature. Any event, I’m searching for an appropriate energy efficient replacement. Hi Jasselmeier,

Thanks for the post and the photo! We do carry an energy efficient version of your motor which would be the UQC1102 1 HP Replacement Motor When replacing your motor we would strongly suggest a tune up kit which includes all the o-rings, gaskets and seals for your pump. If you don’t get a tune up kit you run the risk that you may have leaking after you install the new motor. To determine which tune up kit you need we would need to know the make and model of your pump, this is normally located on the side of your pump near you pump basket, examples would be Pentair Whisperflow, Pentair Challenger, Sta-Rite Dura Glas, etc…

Could you post a photo showing a wide shot of your complete pump as this would help us suggest your tune up kit.

I need a replacement o ring whihc seat into the in ground pump front housing. The o ring is round square type for the serial number pump, please see pic. Thx, Joe

Hello Joe - I believe you are referring to the diffuser o-ring. This would be Key 13 in the Pac-Fab Challenger pump part breakdown. The part number for the square diffuser o-ring is 355030. Let us know if you were looking for a different o-ring.

It’s Key item 14 in the attached pump part breakdown.  It’s an interesting o ring of a round configuration yet square shaped so as to seat neatly in the housing front so when the band clamp assembly is tightened the pump faces are sealed with the assistance of the o ring.
