Is there an EC50 DE filter paired up with a 2-speed pump that I could buy as a kit?
REASON: I live in California. I want an EC50 DE filter for my above ground pool, but CA forces me to use a 2-speed pump. Hayward makes a 2-speed matrix pump, part number SP15932S. Unforunately, I cannot find an eC50 kit that includes that 2-speed pump. If it exists, the part number would probably be EC50C932S. I know that I can individually buy an EC50 filter and an SP15932S pump, plus a base, fittings, hoses, etc, but that drives the price up quite a bit. Is there a system combo that I am overlooking?
Unfortunately, it looks like Hayward does not offer the EC50 with the 1.5HP 2-speed pump. We don’t have many options with 2-speed pumps with filters. We have a 200 square foot cartridge with a 2HP 2-speed pump in stock. It’s a Waterway model 52251976S.
Yeah, I saw that one and considered it briefly. It’s just that I had my heart set on DE. I will probably just spend the extra dollars to buy the individual components. Another possibility, is there a different company that makes a DE filter with a 2-speed pump appropriate for an above-ground pool?
There is Pentair model PNEC0090OF2260. Its a 30sq ft DE filter with a 1.5HP 2-speed pump. It comes with a twist-lock plug but you can pull that off and add a 3-prong plug. However, it is not in stock and the lead time right now could be 6-8 weeks.

You’re welcome. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has temporarily stopped production. That is the reason for the longer lead times.
