We started our pool installation last week, got to installing the liner and it was the wrong liner. New one came in today so we picked up where we left off. I started filling the pool and for some reason I have one portion of my steel wall that is beginning to buckle. Water level is about 6-8" deep right now. Idk if it’s getting worse as it gets deeper or if a gust of wind did it while I was taking care of other things (we got a short start to a storm). What should I do? Has this happened to anyone else?
Hi Little1lady,
I reached out to one of our above ground pool installer friends about your post and here was there reply.
"The liner is probably tight for one reason or another. Storm wind probably didn’t do it. More than likely the pool is a little egg shaped instead of a perfect round and that’s ok. The liner could also be a small one as I have had this happen to me many times even with a perfectly installed track and wall. Not all liners are the same size.
Continue to fill the pool and the rising water will push the wall back out."
Let us know how it turns out.
Thank You
Patrick
