I have had the Baracuda for a number of years and very little is original. I recently replaced the worn foot and the diaphragm (now 3 times but no visible issues/holes/splits). The hose is unclogged, suction is good, no air leaks, sand filter has been back-washed. When assembled, the body hardly pumps and and doesn’t have the energy to flex its hose. BUT if I take the body off and just leave the diaphragm and tube connected to the hose and manually hold it underwater, it pumps energetically (normally). I can’t see any problems with the body. Any suggestions? Thanks!
