Hi, i have an asphalt driveway that I want to install a 16’x48" above ground pool. It has a steel frame

but vinyl walls.

The problem is that the asphalt drivewayway has a doward slope of 2 inches.

Will a 2 inch slope be OK when installing the pool and would it be adviseable to lay down some sort of a plastic pad

before I lay down the liner on the asphalt?

Hi Smoaky,

I would lay down a Pool Liner Pad on the Concrete. And if you are 2" out of level you should be fine. You may want to consider some drainage around the pool. Here is a good post on the topic of Drainage for Above Ground Pools on Slopes.
