American Pool Light Fixture

I have an old American Products in-ground pool light that I need to replace. Require a 50 foot cord.  The numbers on the light are  Series: 77XXXX  Watts 250  Volts 120  Bulb Type T-4
Use with Models 7824XX & 792066 or it may be 792006 (difficult to read)

What light fixture would I require to fit the existing light niche?

Thanks

Hello Popadib - We’d be glad to assist you. Is the face ring on your current light 10" or 6" in diameter?

Hello,

The lens measures approximately 4 inches, so I would assume that the ring is approximately 6 inches.

I didn’t measure the ring, just the lens and I am not at home right now to measure the ring.

The replacement would be model 77168100. This is a 250w 120v Pentair Aqualight with a 50’ cord.

Thank You

HELP!  I have tried to remove the old light, but the old cord is stuck in the conduit. I am able to move it about 4 inches and then it stops. The run is approximately 36 feet from the Jbox to the niche. I ran a fish tape in the conduit (with the existing cord stil in the conduit) 33 feet, and believe I was at the niche opening but could not get the fish tape through the hole in the niche. So, it appears that the conduit is open all the way. Any ideas on what I can do?

thanks

Try wrapping the cord around some channel locks or any long tool. Then pull the cord. This usually makes it easier. We had to do this in the video posted below.
