We got a new motor and installed it yesterday. It ran for a little while, but only when pulling from the main drain. When I turn to pull from skimmers and main drain, it shuts off. (turns off at the breaker and motor shuts off). So we ran it pulling from the main drain for about 30 min, but it started shutting off that way too. Now it will only run for a couple minutes and water is leaking from under the pump motor.

Could you let me know the information off of your old motor and the information of your new motor (cat #, hp, s.f., volts, amps, etc…). Also do you know the make and model of your pump, this should be something like Hayward Super Pump, Pentair Whisperflow, Sta-Rite Dura-Glas, etc. Also if you could post any pictures of your pump that would be most helpful in allowing us to troubleshoot your issue.

I will check shortly. I sent Inyo some pics of my old pump and got a new one from your company. I can resend them when I get home. It did run this morning for about 15 minutes before shutting off.

My previous ticket number with the pics of the old motor was 181590 if that helps. I ordered a new motor, and I have pics of it. It was order number 649454. My pump is a Hayward.

Can you give our customer service a call at 1-877-372-6038 and explain the issue you are having and also refer to your ticket # 181590 which has your photos along with your order # of 649454 customer service will be able to help in determining if your motor is under warranty and getting the proper item shipped out.
