Salt cell indicator code

I replaced my Aqua Rite Goldline Circuit board and now I am getting a code “5Lo”. The “check salt” and “inspect cell” lights are on. I turn the board iff and then back to auto and the message/warnings go away, usually for about 5 hours. The salt level is fine - but the system doesn’t seem to be generating enough chlorine. I’ve tried just turning off the circuit and the salt cell is new. Advice?

This sounds like your Main AquaRite PCB Board is going bad, we carry both the Hayward OEM AquaRite PCB Board as well as an After Market AquaRite PCB Board the aftermarket board is roughly $100 less than the OEM board and the After Market is our recommendation.

It is a new after market replacement board and I have watched the video/read the manual.  I don’t see a reference to the code that I mentioned: 5Lo.  What does that code indicate?

Does this “5Lo” error message appear on on every screen when you cycle through the different options by pressing the diagnostic button or only on a specific screen? Can you list the different information when you cycle through each screen? I have researched this code and found no information on it. You may try Hayward directly for an answer to the “5Lo” code you are seeing by reaching them at 1-800-657-2287 to help resolve question. It is worth a shot but, as Patrick previously stated, we do believe you will need to replace main circuit board with either the Hayward Main Aquarite PCB Board OEM or the After Market AquaRite PCB Board.
