I have already replaced my Hayward Super Pump motor and am looking to once again… Can I replace it with the UCT1152. My current replacement motor is 1.0HP with a 1.5SF. Since the total horsepower is the same, will this work? Or must I purchase something additional?

You can interchange these two motors. The current motor you have is a 1.0 HP Full Rated motor. The motor you would like to replace it with is a 1.5 High Efficenct Uprated motor (How To Understand True Pump Horsepower - Up Rated vs Full Rated). The impeller for either one is the same, so you would not need to change it. I would recommend that whenever you change a motor, that you replace the seals. The replacement seal kit is the Tune Up Kit Hayward Super Pump - GOKIT3.
