Pump size

Hi, my pool is 6000 gal. The smallest pump I see is 1/2 hp that just is a lot of pump for my little pool.

I guess I’m asking will it be overkill or is that my only choice?

Joenboo - The 1/2HP would not be overkill for that size pool. As long as your filter can handle the flow rate of a 1/2HP, you’ll be ok.
