I have a Century 1.95 Hp pump that is almost an exact match to your pump “PureLine Prime Digital Dual Speed Pool Pump 1.95 HP - PL2608” The deminsion are perfect. The only difference is my pump has 1 1/2" openenings and teh Pure line has 2". Can I reduce this to 1 1/2" without causing proplems to the pump?
Hello Cdelavallette - We’d be glad to assist you. If you’re current 1.95HP operated well and did not cavitate, the Pureline PL2608 will be fine. You can use a reducer on the ports in order to drop them from 2" down to 1.5".

Does the Pureline PL2608 come with a shaft seal. Also would you be able to recomend a new impeller for my system?

The Pureline PL2608 does come with a shaft seal. The new pump also comes with an impeller.
If you need an impeller for your older Hayward Super Pump, the part number would be SPX2615C.
