Intex Pool Vacuum

Hi There.

I have an Intex soft side pool with an upgraded sand filter.  The filter is great but it is attached to the hardware that came with the pool.  So the intake grate is a lot finer than the grate inside the leaf collector in the filter.  The result is that the vacuum is constantly clogging at the intake inside the pool.  Is there some sort of attachment I can buy to hook up the vacuum directly to the filter?
