Fiber Optic Lights

I have a fiber optic lighting system.  The whole thing was replaced about 10 years ago.  It has 6 colors.  Anyway, it was working and then shut off after about 20 minutes.  I’m guessing the fan went out and it was overheating.  Now it does not turn on at all as my wife and kids have been using it after I asked them not to so I’m thinking they have now burned or fried everything.  What do I do now?  I don’t want to spend the kind of $ like 10 years ago.  I can’t immagine it being too difficult to replace myself but I can not find anything on it.

I saw your you tube on the LED lighting but watching other like repairs, who knows if the lights will fit in the conduit and my backyard is cement not dirt to dig up. So, that is kind of not an option.

I hope you can help - thanks

Hi DarthKickAss (I love the name =)

The least expensive and easiest option would be to replace your fiber optic illuminator. Can you pull any model information off of the illuminator? If so then please post to this thread so we can make a suggestion for a replacement. The most popular illuminators are the Fiberstars 6004 Illuminator and the SuperVision SV150T6 Illuminator. We have both of these illuminators in stock ready to ship.

Thank You

Patrick

I will look into finding a name or some sort of information this weekend.  Here is another one.  Last night my wife and I thought we would get into the hot tub and it would not turn on (the heater).  Great!

Ahh it’s always something! Any luck with finding the fiber optic information?
