I purchased a home with a Aqua Rite electronic chlorine generator. It says “cold”…what is the complete explanation of this. I know it kicks on to keep the water from freezing but I need to know how to completely interpret what it means. I can find nothing in the manual about it.
Hello Emmett - The LCD display on the Aqua Rite will read “Cold” when the water temperature is below 50° F. The operating range of the salt cell is 50°F to 140°F. If the water temp is below 50°, chlorine will not be generated.
