Just replaced my Aqualite board with board I ordered from your company. I believe I followed procedures exactly. My problem is there is no salt level being displayed. The generating light is lit but the display is 0000. I’ve tried recalibration but no luck.
Is it something else on the board or is it possible my cell (T9) is not transmitting? I’ve considered replacing cell as it is in its third or fourth year.
Hello DeanMiller - What cell is the board set on right now? You can press the diagnostic button 8 times in order to view the selected cell size. It should say T-9. If not, you can change the cell size to T-9 by moving the main switch from Auto to Super Chlorinate and then back to Auto. Do this until T-9 is in the display and leave the switch in the Auto position.
Thanks for replying. Indeed, I checked the cell setting(multiple times) and it is on T9…which is the correct cell.
Is the salt cell producing chlorine?
No…was showing voltage but no amps…I went ahead and ordered a new salt cell but it seems odd that it would suddenly go defective.
Let us know if the new cell provides the correct readings. If not, we’ll replace the main board.
